Some venue patrons want to hear live music in the background Some people order their food & drinks and then socialize with friends or play board games or surf the web or read & relax or text or work on work -- since they seem to have an 'office' at your venue. These people don't always 'listen' to the music, but they know it's there and they enjoy it just the same. Live music [in the background] is why some people want to be there. And that's cool. Some venue patrons want to hear live music in the foreground Some people order their food and drink and then focus on the music. They want to taste it. They want to experience the sounds.
